87th Annual Awards Banquet (2008)

Teamwork Taking Flight

The Klamath County Chamber of Commerce will host their 87th Annual Awards Banquet, sponsored by South Valley Bank & Trust, on Saturday, January 19th, 2008 at Running Y Resort's Convention Center.

The theme for this year's banquet is Teamwork Taking Flight.

Robin Brown, a Kiowa helicopter pilot shot down over Iraq, will give the keynote address at the 87th Annual Chamber Awards Banquet. Robin will share her story of teamwork and dedication to citizenship with those in attendance and will also be autographing, for charity, the book "Band of Sisters: American Women at War in Iraq" in which she is featured. Robin will be introduced by Congressman Greg Walden in an evening dedicated to teamwork, networking and socializing.

Doors will open at 6:00pm with a no-host social hour and silent auction presented by the Chamber Ambassadors. Following the social hour and fundraising, dinner will be served at 7:00pm and we will move on to the highlights of 2007, the awards, and the introduction of our Board of Directors and staff.
