Snowflake Festival 2008
This year's Snowflake Festival theme is “Silver Bells” - Our 25th Anniversary
Snowflake Parade
Parade Date: Thursday, December 4th, 2008
Mark your calendars and join us for this festive holiday event at 7 p.m. on Thursday December 4, 2008. The parade's Grand Marshall is Doug Howard and Chris Howard, the son and grandson of the founder of the Snowflake Festival.
The Snowflake Festival Parade brings folks from miles around to view and take part in this spectacular event. The Snowflake Festival has been a part of the Klamath Basin holiday festivities for 25 years and each year our parade entrants out-do themselves. The creativity and hard work represented by the all of our entrants is why the Snowflake Parade is Southern Oregon's premier holiday event.
Of course, without the tremendous support of many volunteers the Parade would not be the huge success it is every year.
Please plan to be downtown early in the evening! Downtown merchants and restaurants will be open as well as the many vendors that line Main Street with various hot beverages and goodies. You won't want to miss a minute of the fun! If you can't get to Main Street, plan to watch the local coverage on Charter Cable. The parade will also be rerun in its entirety, check your local listings for channel information and the re-airing time!
Join us this festival holiday season event in downtown Klamath Falls. If you have questions, do not hestiate to contact the Chamber by e-mail or by phone.
