4th Annual 4th of July Parade & Street Fair

Over 100 crafters, exhibitors and activities expected to pack Main Street celebrating Independence Day

From skateboarding demonstrations to flying raptor exhibits, art exhibits to story telling, historic Main Street in downtown Klamath Falls will have something for everyone all day on July 4th, 2008.

The day begins with the opening of the Streetfair at 9am downtown, followed at 10:00am by a traditional parade down Klamath Avenue. Capping off the celebration is a fireworks display over Lake Ewauna. Last year's Street Fair event brought approximately 70 vendors and more than 9,000 spectators onto Main Street.

“We were extremely pleased with the response from the residents and the arts and crafts community last year", says Jenine Stuedli, Chairman of the 4th of July Street Fair Committee. "This year we are expanding our efforts by bringing more entertainment, activities and food concessions into the street fair”.

The 4th of July Street Fair is expected to draw more vendors and participants in its third year. “We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Klamath County and downtown Main Street, along with new friends from around the region and across the state”, says Stuedli. “We’re going all-out for our third Street Fair, and hope to exceed all expectations.”
